Looking for origin of "Pennsylvania Dutch" Sarah Davies/Davis who married John McCrellias, as well as information on the McCrellias family. They lived, and several of their first children were reputed to have been born in, the Mount Pleasant or Woodstock area up until about 1860, when they moved on to Quincy, Illinois, and then to Davenport, Iowa.

John McCrellias and Sarah Davies would have been married about 1837. Their children's names: William R., Lyman King, James, Annie E., Emily, Simon, Lavinia, Charles, Riter/Righter, Foster Ephraim, Sarah M., Belle, and Peter. (Two other children, Richard and Mary/Mollie were born later in Davenport, Iowa.)

James Davis born April 19, 1816 in Westmoreland County Died October 28, 1895 Clarion County, Licking Twp. Hw was married Feebruary 13, 1840 to Elizabeth Keister.

I need information on the wives of William DEARTH or DEATH B-1724 London, England. Came to Fayette abd Washington Counties in 1777 from Maryland. Isaac DEARTH B-1754 Maryland. Came to Fayette and Washington County with his father William in 1777.Isaac DEARTH was a member of Capt Thomas STOKLEY'S Company of Frontier Rangers from 1778-1783. His children were Thomas B-1773, Asal or Azel B-1780, John B-1790, Isaac Jr. B-1795. Any information would be helpful. Thank You.

My father Walter Dembosky is from Peckville, Penna. Formerly from Dickson City, Pa. He has mentioned that his grandfather had fought in the War of 1812 as an officer General Wladyslaw. He also mentions the Officer Casmir Pulaski as his commander. I'm trying to get any evidence of our heritage and the General W. if posssible. I am also looking for my mothers side of the family, her maiden name was Gioia. I have no date, so this is even harder for me. Firmstone and Mills are my dads side of the family, my mother was Nancy Desantis, and she marry Robert Firmstone, in Pennsylvania, My father move to Michigan many years ago, and My mother passed away when I was two.. any little thing would be so welcome.

James and Isabel(Gambel) Devlin immigrated to Mt. Pleasant in 1858. She was English and he was Irish. He was a coke expert who came over to work in that industry. They are buried in Mt. Pleasant Cemetary along with five children who did not live to adulthood. Any information about these Devlins, or Gambels (her brothers and sisters came over later) or the Rodgers or Rogers, who married one of the surviving Devlin children named Walter who was my grandfather, would be helpful. Trying to find some evidence, other than oral history, that the ancestors of the Garrett County, Maryland DeWitt family migrated form Southwestern Pennsylvania into Virginia (Now West Virginia) and then into Maryland. Some may have went directly into Maryland.

Searching for information for John Dick, Sr., b. 1785 in Canton of Berne, Switzerland; married Mary (maiden name unk). They and their 5 children arr. U. S. on the ship Florian at New York September 28, 1824. His son John Dick, Jr. b. abt 1810 marr. Mary Shultz. Their two children were Jacob, b. 1852 and Peter Dick, b. 1858; both born in Scottdale. Both John Sr. and John Jr. filed naturalization papers in Fayette Co. in 1840 with intent to settle in Bullskin Twp.

Dietz family or deeds lived near middle churches. John Deeds donated land for St. Johns Lutheran Church at middle churches. Lived in the area for about thirty years then moved to Coshocton, Ohio. My grandfather migrated back to the armbrust area and I live there on his farm now

Dillon b.1831 d.10 April 1927 --Mary Cashdollar [Mary Ellen Byerly] birth and death dates unknown. Children born to them were George L., Robert B., William M., and Edward S. I have found the spouse of Samuel R. as Mary Cashdollar but the mother of Edward S. as Mary Ellen Byerly. The father of Edward S. was Samuel R. and I am still searching for the answer to that problem. Any info on the Dillons would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for James Dougherty in Westmoreland Co. Inofrmation I have says he came there in the first horse and wagon. He died in Kittianing (sp?) Pa. in 1819. He was married twice but I have been unable to find out their names. I beleive the first was a Mayberry, and I think they married in Md. James had a son Francis, my line. Francis b. 1769. Samuel Dunmire ,born ca. 1830 m. Caroline Mcguire d.1865,2nd wife Nancy Jane Carmichael, born 1852. Samuel and Caroline listed 1860 census,cannot find Samuel prior to that. Samuel and Nancy Jane live in Ruffdale are after 1870.

Looking for book"History of Truxal Family by A.E.Truxal

John Dzambo was born in 1864 and died in 1932. He was married to Anna Benna who was born in 1869 and died in 1960. They were both Slovak. Came to America and lived in Hecla (Southwest), Pennsylvania from 1889 until their deaths. John worked in the coke ovens, Anna was a housewife. This is a great service you are performing! I thank you for your help. I am looking for my grandfather's information. I have (alas) no living relatives I can locate. Even what little I can find will feel good. I also don't know where or when my grandmather died. I assume they were BOTH eventually buried in Mt. Pleasant cemetary. Here is what I have:
Thomas Easton and Ada Frick(yes, THAT Frick-she I believe was the youngest brother of H.C. Frick's daughter)Easton. They lived at 1013 West Wahington St. until the late 50 or early 60. Thomas is who I am really curious about. He was "antualized" from scotland in 1894 (that is naturalized) and died in the 20 or 30 she lived ther much later, moved and died(?) Looking for information on the Evans Family that lived in a red brick house at 614 S. Church st during the mid 1900's. I understand that this house was recently torn down and that there is a daycare center in one of the other structures that was on the property.
