Looking for origin of "Pennsylvania Dutch" Sarah Davies/Davis who married John McCrellias, as well as information on the McCrellias family. They lived, and several of their first children were reputed to have been born in, the Mount Pleasant or Woodstock area up until about 1860, when they moved on to Quincy, Illinois, and then to Davenport, Iowa.
John McCrellias and Sarah Davies would have been married about 1837. Their children's names: William R., Lyman King, James, Annie E., Emily, Simon, Lavinia, Charles, Riter/Righter, Foster Ephraim, Sarah M., Belle, and Peter. (Two other children, Richard and Mary/Mollie were born later in Davenport, Iowa.)

My father Walter Dembosky is from Peckville, Penna. Formerly from Dickson City, Pa. He has mentioned that his grandfather had fought in the War of 1812 as an officer General Wladyslaw. He also mentions the Officer Casmir Pulaski as his commander. I'm trying to get any evidence of our heritage and the General W. if posssible. James and Isabel(Gambel) Devlin immigrated to Mt. Pleasant in 1858. She was English and he was Irish. He was a coke expert who came over to work in that industry. They are buried in Mt. Pleasant Cemetary along with five children who did not live to adulthood. Any information about these Devlins, or Gambels (her brothers and sisters came over later) or the Rodgers or Rogers, who married one of the surviving Devlin children named Walter who was my grandfather, would be helpful. I am just starting my genealogy search and have so far traced to great-grandparents from mount pleasant/kecksburg area. Samuel R. Dillon b.1831 d.10 April 1927 --Mary Cashdollar [Mary Ellen Byerly] birth and death dates unknown. Children born to them were George L., Robert B., William M., and Edward S. I have found the spouse of Samuel R. as Mary Cashdollar but the mother of Edward S. as Mary Ellen Byerly. The father of Edward S. was Samuel R. and I am still searching for the answer to that problem. Any info on the Dillons would be greatly appreciated.

This is a great service you are performing! I thank you for your help. I am looking for my grandfather's information. I have (alas) no living relatives I can locate. Even what little I can find will feel good. I also don't know where or when my grandmather died. I assume they were BOTH eventually buried in Mt. Pleasant cemetary. Here is what I have:
Thomas Easton and Ada Frick(yes, THAT Frick-she I believe was the youngest brother of H.C. Frick's daughter)Easton. They lived at 1013 West Wahington St. until the late 50 or early 60. Thomas is who I am really curious about. He was "antualized" from scotland in 1894 (that is naturalized) and died in the 20 or 30 she lived ther much later, moved and died(?)
