St. Joseph and St. Bernadine Churches merged in 1972, after a nine year jointure, to form St. Pius X. Holy Trinity Catholic School is the only one of the Catholic Schools in town to still be operating as a school. Transfiguration, Visitation, and St. Pius all had schools for grades 1 through 8. Low enrollment made them all come together as Holy Trinity Catholic School.

More recently Holy Trinity closed its doors and there are no more Catholic Schools in the Borough.
